Prabowo’s sister company supplies 50,000 tons of corn feed from Ukraine

The company owned by Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto’s younger brother, Hashim S Djojohadikusumo, is involved in shipping corn feed from Ukraine. It was one of the first commercial shipments since the wars between Ukraine and Russia broke out.

The transportation is carried out by the Harvest Commodities Ship, M/V Riva Wind, which will sail from the Port of Odessa, Ukraine with 50 thousand tons of corn feed belonging to the Harvest Commodities SA and Arsari Gorup companies from Indonesia. The cooperation is carried out through PT Comexindo International, a company under the Arsari Group.

The commercial shipment was the first from Odessa since the beginning of the conflict on February 24, 2022. The maritime security was obtained as a result of an agreement between the governments of the United States, Russia, Ukraine, Turkey and Indonesia and the United Nations (UN).

Arsari Group President Director Hashim S Djojohadikusumo added that this activity was the result of the government’s efforts to bring food from Russia and Ukraine.
