Postponement: Dying Light 2 also postpones indefinitely

The Polish game developer Techland needs more time to complete its Dying Light 2 course action game, which was launched in 2018, and is now postponing the title indefinitely.

Instead, Techland asks for understanding that the studio will need more time for its largest project to date and the implementation of its visions. In the coming months, the developer would like to comment on further details about Dying Light 2 and share new information. The developer does not name a new release date for the action game planned for spring 2020.

So 2020 is not the year of the blockbusters. Dying Light 2 is the third AAA title to be postponed after the long-awaited Final Fantasy VII remake by Square Enix and the next flagship title Cyberpunk 2077 by Witcher developer CD Projekt Red.
