Positive Education Festival: 7th Edition of Techno and Electro Music, Opening Night, Lineup, and Daytime Activities

The 7th edition of the festival dedicated to techno and electro music will open at the Cité du design on Halloween evening.

Five days and three nights of music, 120 artists expected, two festive venues… The 7th Positive Education is expected to attract thousands of festival-goers, including many foreigners, from October 31 to November 5.

For its opening night at the Cité du design on Halloween evening (and the eve of public holidays), around twenty artists (“the cream of international electronic music”, according to the organizers) are expected from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. on three different stages. Among them Catnapp live (“the Argentinian producer mixes bass music, RnB, breakbeats, rap and punk”), Perel (“she offers a perfect mix of disco, house and techno”), KiNK live ( “the Bulgarian DJ is famous for his sets where he manipulates in real time a battery of synthesizers and DJ controllers”), FJAAK (“the trio navigates between acid, industrial and techno”), Two Shell live (“ Icons their critically acclaimed EP, bridges the gap between the digital world and the club atmosphere”) and DJ Nobu (“a one-of-a-kind Japanese DJ”).

Remember that daytime activities and a new daytime location have been announced by the organizers for this 7th edition which will be held for the last time at the Cité du design. Located 5, rue Barrouin in Saint-Étienne (opposite the departmental archives), the new spot for the Positive Education festival has been called “Halle Papaz” and it will host “concerts, workshops and conferences in the afternoon and beginning of evening” until November 5.

On this same site, each day will be devoted to a theme (ambient music, rock and its derivatives, hip-hop, etc.): “The “Halle Papaz” will also be the meeting place for workshops dedicated to musical production and conferences. themes (labels, European festivals, etc.). The opportunity to capitalize on all the music professionals who flock to Forez every year to gauge artists who are rarely seen elsewhere…”
