Positive Cases of DHF in Cimahi Soar, Health Office Asks Residents to Be Alert and Exterminate Mosquito Larvae

MAPAY BANDUNG – Head of City Health Office Cimahi drg. Pratiwi asked the public to be more aware of cases of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF).DBD). Because, case inhabitant confirmed positive DBD in the city Cimahi increased.

Case DBD in the city Cimahi experienced an increase in the last month. Currently, a total of 161 people have been infected DBD since the beginning of 2021. A total of 18 people of them died.

“In total there are 161 cases since January. Then only 4 people died this month,” explained Pratiwi.

For prevention, Pratiwi appealed to the public to carry out PSN at home and in their respective environments. Because, during this rainy season larvae mosquito aedes aegypty will breed more in various places puddle air.

Prevention, he said, can be done by the community starting from their respective homes and environments. The community can carry out Mosquito Nest Eradication (PSN) and
run the Jumantik 1 House 1 Movement, which is tasked with carrying out the Eradication of Mosquito Nests (PSN) in their respective homes.
