Latvian basketball player Kristaps Porziņģis stood out on Sunday with 30 points in the second game of the National Basketball Association’s (NBA) season finale, but his Dallas “Mavericks” team suffered a loss.
The Dallas team gave up the Phoenix “Dog” team in the tournament in Orlando with 115: 117 (35:23, 38:37, 19:36, 23:21).
Thanks to the loss of the Grizzlies of Memphis to the San Antonio Spurs, the Mavericks secured a place in the playoffs before the match. Dallas basketball players will play in the play-offs for the first time since 2016. Significantly, the Mavericks without Dirka Novick played in the tournament for the last time in the distant 1990s.

In the Dallas team, Luka Dončičs stood out with 40 points, eight balls under the baskets and 11 assists. Opponents had 30 points for Devin Bucker and 19 points and 12 rebounds for Kemeron Johnson.
The Mavericks ranked seventh in the Western Conference with 40 wins in 69 games.
The NBA season with 22 team participation from July 30 will continue at Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando.
