Portaltic.-Snapchat launches Story Studio, its standalone video editing app for mobiles

The social network Snapchat has launched Story Studio, an application to create and edit professional content for mobiles on their own ‘smartphones’, it is now available for iOS users.

As can be seen in the App Store, users of Apple mobile devices can now download for free the application that the company announced last May, when it presented the application through a statement.

It is an application that works independently of Snapchat and is intended to be an advanced editing tool, with which you can retouch both photos and videos to obtain high quality results.

Story Studio allows more “advanced and attractive” vertical format videos, according to the company in said statement, being able to edit them on the ‘smartphone’ itself.

In addition to the usual cuts in the duration of these files, the application allows you to use transitions, ‘stickers’ or titles, as well as include songs, audio clips and lenses or filters.

These creations can be saved on the devices or published on this social network. This can be done through Stories or on Snapchat’s Spotlight, the service launched in May that brings together the most prominent posts from the community and customizes them for each user according to their preferences.
