While customers are offered a wide range of exterior colours, if this is not enough, a special shade can be selected from the Paint to Sample palette (100 exclusive colors for the 911 and 718, 50 each for the Taycan, Panamera, Cayenne and Macan) of the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur factory personalization program. If that’s not enough, you can use the Paint to Sample Plus service (only for 911, 718 and Taycan), within the framework of which specialists will create a unique shade in five months.

Longtime Porsche fan and CEO of the Elektro Essmann family company chose for its sports cars, the signature color of the electrical and photovoltaic workshop is a bright green shade, which is called Essmanngreen in the Paint to Sample Plus palette. From March 2023, it will be available to buyers of the 911, 718 and Taycan models.
The color story began in 1992 when Michael bought the first Porsche from Essmanngreen, a 911 Carrera RS 3.6 (964). Other cars followed, including a 911 GT3 RS 4.0 (997) and most recently Essmann bought a new 911 GT3 Touring (992). The businessman’s sons, Mike and Stefan, race in the Porsche Sports Cup and, of course, the race cars also have Essmanngreen accents.
Michael’s first green sports car was not painted at the factory (the car was repainted after purchase), but in 2021, for a new car, Essmann turned to factory specialists and they created a shade recipe – taking into account binders and additives, Essmanngreen contains more than 100 ingredients and is different for model 992 from what was used in the 997.
For the first time in the history of the Paint to Sample program, a customer has agreed to use their exclusive shade on other vehicles. Essmanngreen was included in the palette of the Porsche online configurator, and to demonstrate the bright green color, the brand created a special 911 GT3 RS (992) by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur.
