Porsche Macan is renewed: screaming performance and electrification | a real bomb

The electric version will arrive in 2024 and will be a very important model for the electrification strategy of the German carmaker. For this battery-powered SUV, therefore completely devoid of an internal combustion engine, the manufacturer will use all the experience acquired with the Taycan, which from this point of view was the forerunner for the German company. Posche will debut the new PPE platform developed in collaboration with Audi and Volkswagen with the Macan EVM.

Power, agility and charging times reduced to the bone: these are the promises of the new electric Porsche Macan. The German automaker’s first 100% electric SUV is almost ready to show itself to the general public and the test drivers are busy traveling the world to fine-tune what will be promoter of PPE (Premium Platform Electric)the new Volkswagen Group platform developed for high-end electric carsand also used by Audi (and presumably also Seat and Skoda being part of the same automotive group).

The two motors, one per axle, synchronized with permanent magnets have been evolved from the Taycan units with more effective (water) cooling and a different arrangement of the magnets inside the motor.

Fast, even when filling up. The new electric Porsche Macan will be available in multiple power levels, with the most performing versions capable of delivering up to approximately 610 HP and 1,000 Nm of maximum torque.
