Amsterdam – Twenty million people, on that very small piece of earth: according to CBS, this will become reality within forty years. Population growth in the Netherlands is picking up again and in 2025 we will reach a population of 18 million. This is mainly due to immigration, which is likely to increase further in the coming years.
