Pope Francis Appoints Monsignor Kevin Randall as Vatican Ambassador to Bangladesh

Dhaka: Pope Francis has appointed Monsignor Kevin Randall, an American born, as the new Vatican Ambassador to Bangladesh. The new ambassador was appointed after the resignation of Monsignor George Kocheri, who was a Malayali.

Monsignor Kevin Randall was born on May 6, 1966 in New London, USA and was ordained a priest on July 25, 1992. After completing his studies in canon law, he served in the Vatican diplomatic office from July 1, 2001.

In addition to English, Monsignor Kevin Randall is fluent in French, Italian, Spanish and German, having served in various positions in Vatican offices in Rwanda, Serbia, Slovenia, Peru, South Africa, Mexico and Austria.
