In May this year, residents were asked to assess whether, in their opinion, the current parliamentary term generally works better than the previous one.
–
This year, more than half or 56% of the respondents did not agree with the said statement, thus evaluating the work of the 13th Saeima more critically than the performance of the 12th Saeima.
–
The share of the population expressing such a position has increased by six percentage points during the year, reaching the highest level in the last ten years.
–
The opposite opinion – that the 13th Saeima works better than the 12th Saeima – was expressed by 17% of respondents in the survey, which is one percentage point more than last year.
–
Another 27% of respondents were unable to provide a specific answer to this question.
