Group leader Farid Azarkan, party chairman Selçuk Öztürk and MP Tunahan Kuzu were involved in a protracted conflict. After Kuzu retired as party leader and party leader in early March due to a conflict with Öztürk, Azarkan asked to step down. Chairman Öztürk refused, although most board members have since resigned.
Then the board expelled Azarkan from the party. Later, the appeal committee of DENK overturned that cancellation.

Constructive conversations
Azarkan, Öztürk and Kuzu have had ‘constructive conversations’ about the future of DENK in recent days. “They will continue to talk to each other in the coming weeks. Good agreements have been made in mutual consultation in the interests of DENK.”
Recently, Kuzu and Öztürk both announced they will not return to the House of Representatives after next year’s parliamentary elections.
