–Genter is a politician in the Green Party of Aotearoa New Zealand. She was born in the United States but moved to New Zealand and joined the party in 2011.
Genter, who is a spokesperson for, among other things, transport issues in the country – also cycled to the hospital in 2018 to give birth to her firstborn.
“Beautiful Sunday morning for a bike ride, to the hospital, for an induction to finally have this baby,” Genter posted on Instagram at the time, along with photos of her cycling when she was pregnant in week 42. She also added the subject # bicyclesarethebest.
