Political parties Henk Krol and Henk Otten to merge | NOW

MPs Henk Krol and Femke Merel Van Kooten join forces with MPs Henk Otten and Jeroen de Vries. The politicians announced this on Monday The Telegraph.

Krol becomes party leader and Otten the chairman.

The four continue as Party for the Future. According to Otten, the idea behind the merger is that the voter is not waiting for all kinds of splinter parties.

In May, Krol left his party 50PLUS after an argument. “It’s often about egos and there are too many job hunters within the club,” said Krol last month. He started a new movement in which Van Kooten, who was first part of Party for the Animals, joined.

Otten left the Forum for Democracy after an argument with party leader Thierry Baudet, after which De Vries followed him.
