The parties of GroenLinks, D66, PvdA and SVL want the city council to investigate what is needed to improve the sexual health of Leiden residents. The four parties ask for it on Thursday, on the occasion of World Aids Day, in a letter to the Council.
The questioners want to know what challenges and possibilities there are for making the residents of Leiden sexually healthier. “Young people play an important role in this. They must learn in good time to make sensible sexual choices. It is precisely on the occasion of World AIDS Day that the parties underline the importance of good information. “Contraceptives must be affordable and widely available to all. This applies to the pill, condoms and also the HIV prevention pill PrEP. Especially for groups with a higher risk of HIV infection.”
