Last week was a real festival of announcements for our industry! It was these few days ago that we saw dozens of new games for the first time, among which there was also a place for many Polish productions. You could even say that the Poles conquered the Summer Game Fest.
Unfortunately, we missed E3 this year, but Geoff Keighley, Xbox, IGN, GamesRadar, PC Gamer and other teams have prepared their conferences, during which quite a lot of really cool were shown for the first time during the so-called Summer Game Fest and Summer of Gaming. titles aimed at the market in the coming months and years. As it turned out, right next to such hits as Street Fighter 6, Dragon’s Dogma 2, new versions of Final Fantasy, or Resident Evil 4 Remake, it was Polish productions that were the largest, most interesting and most anticipated. Industry pundits have talked a lot about The Alters, Witchfire, Outriders, and Serial Cleaners.
Therefore, we decided to take a look at all the Polish titles announced this week and collect them in one place. First, you will see 9 games prepared for 2022, and in the second part of the article, we have prepared a list of Polish hits coming to us in 2023 and beyond.
Polish games for 2022
Outriders: Worldslayer (DLC)

The native looter-shooter may not have made the best start in the history of the genre, but, like the iconic Destiny, it can bounce off the bottom with the first large expansion. It is here that the co-op gameplay will be improved, the end-game phase will be improved, and the whole will be sprinkled with new locations, bosses, a storyline and weapons.
Midnight Fight Express

Good games made by single developers deserve a special place in our industry. Jakub Dzwinel and his Midnight Fight Express are the perfect show that a talented developer can create an intriguing, interesting and really good-looking action game.
Serial Cleaners

The sequel to the great Serial Cleaner finally received the premiere date, which the Krakow team set for September 22 this year. This time, we’ll jump back to the 90s and pick up a mop, broom, and other cleaning tools after gruesome crimes. If the title is at least as good as “1”, Draw Distance may already be celebrating another big success.
Railbound

Logical productions such as Railbound can delight us not only with interesting puzzles, but also with a beautiful stylized audiovisual setting. If you like to make an intellectual effort from time to time, be sure to add this native production to your wish list.
Autopsy Simulator

- Release date: November 2022
The market of simulators, especially those made in Poland, has recently been severely stigmatized – both by Poles and foreign players, who have finally noticed that not every company keeps its promises. However, it will be different with Autopsy Simulator by Woodland Games – here the studio’s partner is Team 17, and this team does not throw words into the wind. Who knows, maybe it will be one of the most interesting simulators on the market.
VergeWorld

What happens when we combine WipeOuta with Panzer Dragoon? This question is answered by VergeWorld, an insanely dynamic space shooter combined with racing in the skies. It looks pretty good, it sounds great, and the concept itself is really unique.
Witchfire

When Adrian Chmielarz starts working, we can be sure that something amazing will come out of it. The legendary Polish artist finally showed more materials from his Witchfire – a new shooter inspired by Bloodborne, after a few years of break. I don’t know about you, but for me it’s the most anticipated Polish game of the year!
Forever Skies

Far From Home is one of the first Polish developers working on Unreal Engine 5, which at one time even distinguished Epic Games itself. Forever Skies promises to be a very interesting cosmic story, where we will travel through beautiful unknown lands, solve some puzzles and maybe fight a bit. Maybe Starfield will not make its debut this year, but there is no need to cry, because the Poles can really deliver a great title.
Alaskan Truck Simulator

- Creators: Road Studio
- Release date: 2022
The last of the production planned for this year is another simulator, but not just any. Road Studio wants to take this genre to the next level by offering us even better, more polished and more detailed simulations – Euro Truck Simulator and American Truck Simulator are the first challenges. Will they deliver their promises in full? We’ll find out in a few months.
Polish games for 2023 and 2024
AirportSim

The authors of the terrible Land of War take on the shoulders with a slightly lighter atmosphere and theoretically simpler title. Instead of fighting for the title of the Polish Call of Duty, this time Warsaw residents will fight to stand in one line with Microsoft Flight Simulator, perfectly complementing the theme of the Asobo Studio game.
Layers of Fears

Bloober Team are true masters of horror movies and after the great Medium, no one has any doubts about it. The company decided to go back to its roots by serving us a kind of remake of its first first-person horror movies, which it owes to breaking through to the back of the game devu league.
The Last Case of Benedict Fox

- Creators: Plot Twist
- Release date: 2023
The production of Plot Twist has its own presentation during the biggest show of the whole Summer Game Fest – Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase. The Polish title will go to Xbox Game Pass on the day of its release and will serve us a fantastic gameplay inspired by Limbo, Inside and slightly more dynamic productions like My Friend Pedro, with an intriguing plot and atmosphere.
The Invincible

Invincible, created on the basis of the cult novel by Stanisław Lem, was an undiscovered mystery for a long time, so many people had serious concerns whether Polish production would really be as good as promised, or whether such crap as Me, Inquisitor from Jacek Piekara will come out. Fortunately, the first gameplay shown on the PC Gaming Show proves that Starward Industries creates a really strong title that the famous writer would certainly be extremely proud of.
SacriFire

The authors of such hits as Regalia: Of Men and Monarchs are preparing another unique production for us. This time we will get a dynamic Japanese action RPG with beautiful pixel-art and music from Motoi Sakuraba herself – a legendary composer known for such titles as Tales of Zestiria, Dark Souls, Kid Icarus, or Valkyrie Profile. It promises to be a strong heel!
Enemy of the State

- Creators: Brave Lamb Studio

Together with Enemy of the State, we enter the region of games whose premiere, unfortunately, is very distant or has not been determined at all. The work of Brave Lamb Studio will take us to the golden times of the American gangster, i.e. the prohibition era, when men in hats shook not only politicians but entire cities. The whole game will be presented in the form of an isometric shootout and perhaps it will delight us with its unique approach to the plot.
Fort Solis

During the Summer Game Fest conference, Fallen Leaf, still little known in our country, showed the intriguing Fort Solis, in which the heroes are voiced by such giants as Troy Baker and Roger Clark. This alone causes a lot of hype for the Polish title, but if we add a dark horror atmosphere to it, we can get a really great title.
Harmony’s Odyssey

Harmony’s Odyssey is a rather small game, but it is created with heart and love for puzzles. A beautiful artistic style, a charming heroine and a pleasant melody playing in the background will make solving puzzles prepared for us turn out to be pure, relaxing pleasure.
The Alters

11 bit studios needs no introduction. The PC Gaming Show advertised itself primarily with the fact that it is at this event that we will see another project by the authors of This War of Mine and Frostpunk for the first time. Well, what can I say, the Poles have swept it! The Alters is one of the most intriguing and most anticipated games of the entire Summer Game Fest, which is boldly placed next to Street Fighter 6, Final Fantasy or Resident Evil 4 Remake.
