Police fire warning shot at arrest in Groningen | Inland

The officers had arrived at a report about a conflict in a house on Eikenlaan around 02.30 am. When they got there, the suspect fled. He was stopped shortly afterwards in the nearby Asingastraat, but the man continued to resist despite the use of pepper spray. Because of the “imminent situation” that followed, the officers decided to fire a warning shot.
