Many others followed suit with their own stories and bizarre experiences they’ve had along the way with Pokémon Go: ““There is a stop in my city called ‘Triangle’ and it is literally a statue of three naked people forming a triangle.”

Some players gave examples of PokéStops they avoided due to the controversies surrounding them. Among them, those that include statues of former politicians or monuments to historical events.

Another even shared that, like the original author, “I live across the street from a Scientology location and can turn around the stop from my apartment. Some of my friends I don’t know in person probably think I’m a member.”
