Can Tapu Bulu be shiny in Pokémon GO?
Unfortunately, Tapu Bulu can’t be bright in Pokémon GO. Like their other island deity Pokémon like Tapu Lele, Niantic does not release the shiny versions of these new Pokémon with the debut of the regular version.
Having said that, The Tapu Bulu is no less rare. Like the Island Deity Pokémon before its introduction with Alola Season, these Pokémon are only available at the Five-Star Raid location for a short time and cannot be caught afterward. Tapu Bulu Five Star Raid Schedule
Currently, there is only one place to catch Tapu Bulu. As mentioned above, Tapu Bulu replaces Therian Forme Thundurus in the Five-Star Raid role. Tapu Bulu enters the five star raid on Tuesday, April 12 at 10 a.m. local time and will leave the five-star Raid in Tuesday, April 26 at 10:00 local time. During this time, you will have many opportunities to catch Tapu Bulu.

Similar to how Featured Hours work, there are special Raid Hours specific to Tapu Bulu while at the five-star Raid Location. The Tapu Bulu Remembrance Raid Hours, which usually take place on Wednesdays, take place on April 13 and 20 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time.
Tapu Bulu Weaknesses and Cons
Since Tapu Bulu is a Grass- and Fairy-type Pokémon, it is extremely weak to Poison-type moves, but also weak against Fire, Flying, Ice, and Steel-type attacks. With that in mind, you’ll want to stick with a Poison-type team. Some of the best Pokémon to take with you into battle are Gengar, Beedril and Toxicrock. Stick to moves like Poison Jab, Acid, and Sludge Bomb.
