the annual Pokémon Go The New Year’s event is once again slated to run from December 31st to January 4th, keeping with the previous year’s theme of adding a new costumed variant of the Slowpoke evolution line and adding another Heritage Season element for players around of the world.
Not only will there be new content, exclusive in-game bonuses and event-themed avatar items available, but players can also enjoy in-game fireworks from 11:00 pm December 31st local time to 12:00 pm January 2nd local time .
For the Season of Heritage, Team Instinct leader Spark is taking the reins in January, throwing a party after a special gift exchange. This will attract nearby Pokémon to join the celebration, including a handful of costumed Pokémon.

These costumed Pokémon will appear in the jungle, raids and egg hatching for 7 km.
In addition to the costumed Pokémon and event clothing, players will fold Stardust and Candy to hatch the Eggs, and the Egg Hatch distance has been halved during the event. New timed surveys will also be available to complete for bonuses and additional encounters.
