The Pokémon Company announced that China Airlines will be illustrated with Pikachu and other Pokémon.
According to ANN, The jet named “Pikachu Jet CI” will operate primarily in the Asia region, including flights between Tokyo and Taipei. The design of the aircraft will have eleven Pokémon on a purple background and it will have fun little accents like pokeballs in the engines.
“Pikachu Jet CI” will join the already in service “Pikachu Jet BC1” and “Pikachu Jet BC2” operated by Skymark Airlines in Japan. These planes primarily operate on routes to and from the Japanese tropical island of Okinawa, but occasionally fly to other locations around Japan, also flying on one of these planes gives you access to various anime-themed onboard devices and services, as well as the ability to purchase related products. You heard that collectors!
The official Pokémon Air Adventures website has hinted that they’re preparing similar Pikachu jets for markets around the world, so you might soon be able to fly one of these planes, even if you’re not headed to any Asian countries.
