Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the President’s Office, said that the murder of one of the consultants of the Ukrainian delegation Denis Kireevwhom the SBU allegedly accused of treason, was due to poor coordination of the Ukrainian special services at the beginning of the war.
About this Podolyak said in an interview with Latvian Delfi.
“He was related to the main intelligence department, and his murder was due to the fact that there was no unified coordination between law enforcement agencies,” Podrlyak said.
He pointed to certain claims against Kireev, and also noted that they did not have time to settle them in a “dialogue format.”
“This is not related to the work of the delegation and the negotiation process. He was not an agent of Russia,” Podrlyak added.
According to the adviser to the head of the OP, Russia subsequently tried to “put Kireev as its agent,” but he was not connected with the enemy.
Recall that the banker Denis Kireev warned Ukrainian intelligence about the order of the head of the Kremlin Putin to launch a full-scale invasion. Kireev began cooperation with the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense in 2021.
