The first vice-president of PNL, Rareș Bogdan, denied on Wednesday that there is an intention to form a PNL, PSD, UDMR government. In addition, he claims, there were no face-to-face meetings with PSD leaders to be attended by Prime Minister-designate Nicolae Ciuca.
“I would like to cancel any misinformation. There were no such meetings in the format in which they spoke, the appointed prime minister spoke several times with Marcel Ciolacu or other PSD leaders, in fact Florin Cîțu, the PNL president, spoke to him by phone. As he spoke on the phone with Mr. Cioloș, Mr. Barna or other leaders. It is absolutely logical this form of discussions, collaboration, consultation, as discussed, and here I can confirm, with those from UDMR, with whom I worked under the coordination of Mr. George Flutur on the governing program “, said Rareș Bogdan.
The Liberal announces that the appointed prime minister will submit the list of ministers and the government program at the end of this week.

He also denied the information according to which Ciucă would submit his mandate as prime minister-designate.
“There was no discussion on parity government, there was no problem for PNL to enter a government with PSD. I repeat, this issue has not been raised. Let’s talk about portfolios and people. There was no such option. PNL does not consider the formation of a Ciuca Government with representatives from PSD, so that things are extremely clear.
