PM Modi to review public health preparedness at 4:30pm in the wake of increasing Covid cases.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a high-level meeting on Wednesday to review the Covid-19 situation and public health preparedness, as India sees a surge in cases. Meanwhile, former deputy CM of Delhi, Manish Sisodia, has been sent to judicial custody until April 5 in connection with a liquor policy case. A fire broke out at a restaurant in Delhi’s Khan Market, while two labourers were killed and another injured when their motorcycle fell into a well in Uttar Pradesh. Additionally, there were reports of North Korea launching multiple cruise missiles towards the east coast, and the Russian navy reportedly repelling a drone attack on Crimea’s Sevastopol port. India resists calls for foreign airlines to gain more access to its airports as it seeks to recapture control of Indian travel from foreign rivals, according to the country’s aviation minister.
