Plottier: Health seeks to stop the wave of coronavirus infections

The Municipality of Plottier and the ministry of Health of the Province agreed to reinforce sanitary controls in that town after the outbreak of infections of coronavirus in the city that would have originated after a birthday celebration that opened with about 70 people. It was during a meeting that Mayor Gloria Ruiz and Minister Andrea Peve had on Thursday.

“We have to continue working on prevention, care and above all on raising awareness of the neighbors. Avoid social gatherings that are the ones that trigger contagion in the city,” said the community chief, after the meeting held in Plottier .

The meeting was attended by doctors from the Hospital by Plottier who closely follow the epidemiological situation of the town. It was precisely the doctors from the local hospital who asked to reinforce the controls in public spaces, given the number of adolescents and families that are installed, share the mate, do not use the mask or respect social distance.

“The idea is that the neighbors can go out to recreate, but respecting social distancing and the use of the corresponding chinstrap, to avoid the level of contagion,” the mayor said to LMN.

The communal chief also referred to the situation next Sunday when Children’s Day is celebrated in the country, and said that “Minister Peve emphasized the need to maintain the ban on celebrations and social gatherings given the national decree which indicates it. “

“That is why we are informing the picnic areas, to avoid the attendance of children and the reunion of families,” he said.
