As you’ve probably all noticed, Sony didn’t make the announcement at 5:30 pm this afternoon free PlayStation Plus games of March 2021. The presentation of the new selection was expected as always for the last Wednesday of the month, but the time window passed without any mention from Sony.
While we continue to wait patiently, a rumor is making its way online according to which among the free games of March there will be none other than Final Fantasy 7 Remake: to put it around was “Shpeshal Ed”, co-presenter of the podcast XboxEra, therefore a personality much closer to the Xbox world than to the PlayStation one. On Twitter he wrote: “If you haven’t bought Final Fantasy 7 Remake yet, make sure you are signed up for PlayStation Plus in March”.
Could it be so? At the moment Sony is silent and we have no way of verifying your statement. What is certain is that the inclusion of a game of the caliber of Final Fantasy 7 Remake in the selection of PlayStation Plus it would undoubtedly be unusual: it is a triple A game released less than a year ago, which on the PlayStation Store has not yet undergone a cut in the initial price, and which even with discounts has never been offered to less than 34.99 euros.
