PlayStation is clearly very interested in helping to develop and grow the esports world, as over the past couple of years we’ve seen the Japanese video game titan make a number of moves to cement itself as a leader in the esports world.
This has previously come in the acquisition of fighting game esports body EVO, and has recently expanded further with a new dedicated PlayStation Esports YouTube channel.
We’re told this channel will be used to share interviews with professional players, tips and tricks, guides, event highlights, and other exclusive content from what we assume will be PlayStation-owned or partnered tournaments and events.
