Playstation 5 sells better than Xbox Series consoles, but Sony wants more.
Playstation will soon get the same offer
Xbox Game Pass is one of the few cards Microsoft has to play against Sony, but this is about to no longer be an exclusive one. According to Bloomberg, the working name of the project is Spartacus. The service will provide access to modern games and classics for a monthly fee.
The service will come to both PS4 and PS5.
Launched in the spring of 2022
The service is expected to be launched during the spring and will merge the two existing subscriptions, PS Plus and PS Now. It will be interesting to see if Sony’s PC ports, which they are increasingly focusing on (Uncharted 4 is underway), are also included.
Documents we have seen indicate that Sony has plans to take care of the PS Plus brand, but phase out PS Now.
