Accordingly, Sony should already be working on a PS5 event in May 2020. The actual console should then be revealed on this. It is not known whether the first games will be shown. So far, Sony has not commented on the allegations and we do not expect that this will happen at some point.
This is not only due to the high level of secrecy surrounding the PlayStation 5. Should Sony now announce an event for the unveiling of the PS5, but would have to accept shifts due to the Corona virus, the disappointment among the fans would be huge. With a surprising PS5 event, Sony may be able to triumph in the battle for the next-gen throne. Microsoft is also said to be working on a presentation for the Xbox Series X. Could this also take place in May?
