Ashraf Abdulaziz, lawyer for Saleh Gomaa, Al Ahly playmakers, denied that he had signed for Zamalek, saying that the player is holding his contract with the team and has a desire to persuade coach Rene Weiler to give him the opportunity.
His lawyer, Saleh Jumaa, said in his statements to MBC Egypt satellite channel: “I laugh at talking about signing for Al-Zamalek club, because Saleh’s contract with Al-Ahly has two and a half seasons remaining, and he continues to train Al-Ahly and has a strong insistence to persuade Feiler to get a new opportunity . “
He continued: “How can the player be a regular, regular player in Al-Ahly training, and have a desire to be Al-Ahly game makers and sign for another club? I do not know how such talk comes out.”
He added: “I am Saleh Jumah’s lawyer, can he sign in the absence or without my knowledge? This matter is totally incorrect, as he did not sign contracts and does not want to leave.”
Saleh Jumah missed Al-Ahly during the last matches of the current season, and he has not participated in any meeting since the Egypt Cup last season.
