All 36 people on board were removed from the plane alive, local authorities said. – The domestic flight of airline Jubba Airways had departed in the morning from the southwestern city of Baidoa, with destination Mogadishu. The accident started a fire in the right wing. The aircraft is a Fokker 50, a model of the Dutch aircraft factory Fokker that went bankrupt in the late 1990s. – The cause of the accident is being investigated.
