Tang Fanglin said that my country has 2.568 billion acres of collective forest land, accounting for 60% of the total forest area, distributed in more than 2,600 counties, involving more than 100 million farmers. In recent years, my country has carried out the process of confirming and issuing certificates for collective forest land rights. The forest stock volume of collective forests has increased by nearly 3.9 billion cubic meters compared with before the forest reform, an increase of nearly 85%. Nearly 300,000 new forestry management entities such as family forest farms, large professional households, and forestry cooperatives have been cultivated, and income levels have been significantly improved.
Recently, Jiangle County, Sanming City, Fujian Province signed a contract with a company from Shanghai for 20,000 tons of forestry carbon tickets worth 300,000 yuan.

Tang Fanglin said that collective forests are an important carrier for improving carbon sinks, an important foundation for maintaining ecological security, and an important resource for rural revitalization. In order to further stimulate the development vitality of collective forestry and better adapt to the new situation and new requirements, the reform of the collective forest rights system needs to continue to be deepened.
