Even the best housekeepers forget some places. Which corners in the home do we never clean? You will surely find a few of them.

Order must be!

Do you have a nice tidy apartment? Do you know exactly where to reach and how often, so that you are not surprised by clumps of dust and embedded crumbs? Clean or not, most of us forget some places, so there are five typical places in our homes that we don’t clean.

There are many different little things that you can clean after each use or that you should think about during regular cleaning. See which ones Michaela De Martino came to.

Among the furniture

Places behind, between and on furniture are often dirt traps. Built-in cabinets or appliances in the kitchen minimize such places, however, there are some such corners in every home.

Behind the appliances

Also be careful of places behind appliances. Refrigerators are problematic, but so are stoves. If you have fans or air conditioning, then you will find dust deposits year after year, which must be removed before using them.

Plastic and wooden cutting boards

Plastic but especially wooden cutting boards can represent a real hygiene risk in the kitchen. You can safely put plastic in the dishwasher, but not wood. Therefore, take the time to clean the wooden boards well, for example with salt or another disinfectant. Oil the cutting board, as well as other wooden household items after cleaning. They will look better and resist moisture and therefore microorganisms.

Switches, handles, controls

Remember switches, handles, phones and remotes. These mostly plastics and metals are often in our hands, but we rarely clean them. You don’t have to disinfect everything, but once in a while wipe everything thoroughly with a slightly moistened Swedish cloth, which will easily wipe away dirt and greasy fingerprints. Or get wipes to clean displays and plastics and wipe down everything including computer monitors and keyboards. Places where computers or televisions have air vents can be vacuumed with a vacuum cleaner nozzle. This will remove at least part of the dust build-up inside.

Waste in the bathtub

We should also regularly clean waste in the bathtub, shower, sink and sink. We know it, but do we do it? Pour over the waste with hot water with a drop of detergent. Nothing more is needed. Protect the filter waste and do not pour grease into them, then they will stay clean and pass through much longer.

Clean utensils are the foundation

Don’t forget to wash and wash mops, cloths, brushes and brushes. It’s hard to make your home really clean if you clean with dirty tools. If you happen to forget to wash the textiles intended for washing and cleaning, get a few spare pieces that you can change as needed.
