Pirate game Skull & Bones tutorial video appears online – Gaming – News

The introductory video of a test version of Ubisoft’s pirate game Skull & Bones has appeared online. It is a video from a closed technical test, in which a lot of gameplay can be seen and the various possibilities of the game are explained.

According to the explainer video, Skull & Bones can be played solo, but the entire game can also be played multiplayer. The game revolves around naval battles with pirates in the Indian Ocean. Players can only fight with ships. It doesn’t seem to be possible to fight on land or as a person on the ship.

However, players can go ashore to outposts to visit. Ships can be built and upgraded there. Players can also enter into contracts here to gain fame. This gives players access to better ships and weapons. The goal is to become the most notorious pirate.

Of video is on Streamable and comes from a technical test. This means that it is not an early alpha version, but a version with which, for example, the server technology is tested.

Skull & Bones has been in development for years and Ubisoft has delayed the game several times. The game was first announced in 2017, then with a planned release in 2018. Ubisoft has not yet provided an exact date for the game’s release, but the game is expected to release before April 2023. Reportedly, the development has already cost over $120 million.
