Nearly 80,445 students from Pinar del Río from Early Childhood, Primary, Secondary, Pre-University, Technical and Professional, Adult and Special education will attend classrooms on Monday, September 4.

The entry of students from internal centers will be on Saturday, September 2 and Sunday, September 3.

Students from the IPVCE Federico Engels provincial centers, Tania la Guerrillera pedagogical school, Pedro Téllez, Rigoberto Fuentes, Primero de Mayo, EIDE Ormani Arenado and ESPA polytechnics will gather on Saturday, September 2nd.

The trip will be by bus from the usual points, at 10:00 am the ones from Minas de Matahambre, Mantua and La Palma will leave; while at 11:00 am it will be Sandino and Guane.

At two in the afternoon it corresponds to San Luis and San Juan y Martínez, also to Viñales, Consolación del Sur, Los Palacios and Pinar del Río.

Students from the municipalities of Mantua, Sandino, Guane and San Juan y Martínez will be concentrated in the railway stations of Guane, Isabel Rubio, Sábalo and San Juan y Martínez, and from these places they will travel by train.

In the case of San Luis, the School Transport buses will take them to the provincial centers of the city of Pinar del Río.

In Pinar del Río, 477 schools were damaged by Ian, of which 350 have been recovered and 127 are pending. Tropical storm Idalia recently damaged 52 schools, so there are currently 179 pending, a figure that covers the two weather events.
