Pilange. 2,000 homes without electricity for eight hours between Bouzonville and Thionville

On Sunday afternoon, around 4.30 pm, there was a general power outage in the entire municipal area of ​​Piblange and in several surrounding villages: Aboncourt, Anzeling, Dalstein, Ebersviller, Hestroff, Hombourg-Budange and Kédange-sur-Canner . “In total, 2,000 customers were affected by this fault which occurred in Piblange at the level of a distribution board, on the 20,000 volt line,” informs Gilles Baudson, Enedis’ local authority relations manager.

Enedis technicians intervened to carry out the necessary work and restore power to the homes. The restart took place gradually, so that the last homes were supplied with electricity again around 00:45.

In some municipalities, electricity is still supplied by generators installed by Enedis. “Recovery operations are scheduled for Wednesday.”
