Bola.net – Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has finally found a new club. Saturday (22/7/2023) early morning WIB, Aubameyang officially left Chelsea to join the top Ligue 1 club, Marseille.
Through their official website, Marseille announced that Aubameyang had officially joined the club after successfully undergoing medical tests.
Marseille did not mention the details of Aubameyang’s recruitment. However, the news says that the striker from Gabon has received a three-year contract, alias until 2026.

Since the 2022/2023 season ended, Aubameyang and his agent have been diligently looking for a new club, as his name is not included in the Chelsea scheme for the 2023/2024 season.
The process of finding a new club was difficult at first. There are hardly any European clubs who want to ask for her hand and there are only Saudi Arabian clubs who do.
Meanwhile, Aubameyang emphasized that he only wanted to stay in Europe. Fortunately, Marseille came at the right time when he had no other options.
The news said that Aubameyang could finally join Marseille for free after Chelsea agreed to terminate the player’s contract.

Aubameyang is the 14th player to leave Chelsea in the 2023 summer transfer window. In other words, Chelsea’s clearance mission was a success.
Previously, Chelsea had released a number of their key players, starting from Edouard Mendy, Kalidou Koulibaly, Mateo Kovacic, Kai Havertz, Mason Mount, to Christian Pulisic.
Aubameyang is not the last player to leave. Romelu Lukaku and Hakim Ziyech are claimed to be the next two names to leave Stamford Bridge soon.
