Last November, in Thionville, La Poste left rue Maréchal-Joffre and its old buildings for rue de Paris. A welcome move, the premises having become obsolete. The fact remains that the building on rue Joffre, a legacy of the German annexation (1907), remains an architectural marvel that many Thionville residents, including the mayor, would like to promote.
