The Department of Initiatives in the Ministry of Health office sector organized a two-day training for Fayoum health workers in preparation for the implementation of the presidential initiative on maternal and fetal health, which will start from Sunday, March 1, 2020 in 174 health units and a medical center, which are all units that provide pregnant women follow-up services.
This training comes within the initiative of 100 million health under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the Republic and in implementation of the directives of His Excellency Dr. Hala Zayed – Minister of Health and Population and under the supervision of Dr. Amal Hashem – Undersecretary of the Ministry and led by Dr. Mahmoud Mahfouz – Director of Maternal and Child Welfare in Fayoum Health, and this initiative is aimed at early detection of diseases Transferred from the mother to the fetus, the training took place over two days. The first: On Tuesday, 3 health departments were trained in Atsa, Youssef Al-Siddiq and Ibshway.
The second: Thursday, in which 4 health departments were trained, namely Al Bandar, Fayoum Center, Tameyah and Sinnuras.
The training included theoretical training in mobile diseases from mother to fetus and another practical by forming working groups on how to do rapid testing of HIV, syphilis and hepatitis B diseases, which are the targets targeted during the initiative, and also included training on how to enter the 100 million health program on the computer .
The training took place on the first day in the training halls of the Caiman Fares Center and the training halls of the Health Education Department of the High Dam Center, while on Thursday the training halls of the Cayman Fares Medical Center were conducted by Dr. Marwa Kamal Nour El-Din – from the technical office of the Assistant Minister for Initiatives and Supervisor Affairs General of the Fayoum Governorate, Engineer Hajar Ahmed – from the Office of the Assistant Minister for Initiatives Affairs, Engineer Mohamed Azab – from the Office of the Assistant Minister for Initiatives Affairs.
While the practical training was conducted by HVD Company for Rapid Detectors, Dr. Bidaa Mohamed – Dr. Amira Sami – Engineer Mohamed Yahya – Engineer Ahmed Abdel Hamid.
In this initiative, we will measure the weight, height, pressure, sugar and sonar work, in addition to analyzes of virus B, syphilis and HIV, through a blood sample and the test result will appear within minutes.
This initiative is an important step for the early detection of diseases and hereditary diseases and for dealing with them, in order to ensure the birth of healthy children and a generation without disease.
The training was attended by physicians, pharmacists, assistant directors of health departments, nursing supervisors and data-entry operators.
