Last year Samsung released the Galaxy A52 from 349 euros, but that was a version without 5G. According to previous rumors, there will be no 4G version of the Galaxy A53.

Ehm yes, but there was also the A52s 5G in between There was no 4G version of that either. Samsung updates their midrange devices twice a year.

Other than that, it looks like a nice device, looks just like the A52s, but there was nothing wrong with that. I have the one from work and it’s a great device.

It’s a shame that the 3.5mm jack disappears. I often use it with my Jabra headset for work. Easy to punch when I get a call. I hope that there will be another benefit for this, for example extra battery capacity (although that of the A52s is not bad for a long time). Edit: According to GSMArena in fact 500 mAh.

Looks like the front camera is still a bit reflective, I think that’s a shame, it’s a bit annoying effect.

Edit: According to GSMArena the A53 goes from Snapdragon 778G (A52s) to the Exynos 1200. That would be a shame. The 778G is really great in terms of battery life. And Exynos is still very disappointing in that area.
