A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries after being struck by a car on the Henri-IV highway southbound in Quebec City on Thursday evening.

According to the first observations, the woman would have hit “something” which would have made her fall from her motorbike, near Boulevard Hochelaga, around 6:20 pm. Almost at the same time, a vehicle then struck him.
“When she was transported to the hospital, she was conscious. But she was seriously injured ”, indicates Sergeant Hélène Nepton, of the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), specifying however not to know the current state of health of the victim.
