Prince William and Kate Middleton attended the Royal Polo charity match yesterday. As you know, Prince William, like his brother prince harry has been excellent at playing this sport since childhood. As if this time wasn’t unusual, the Dukes of Cambridge are famous for following royal protocol very strictly, but this time ‘the foot slipped’.
Emotions were so high after the polo match that Prince William hugged and kissed his beloved Kate in public, which, according to the “letter of the law”, is against the protocol of royal behavior.
It is also interesting that Kate had brought her English spaniel named Orla with her to the game. The dog’s name, translated from the Celtic language, means “golden princess”. This dog entered the family of the Dukes of Cambridge two years ago and it happened after the family’s previous dog – also an English spaniel named Lupo – went to other hunting grounds. Orla was given to Kate and Prince William by James Middleton, Kate Middleton’s brother, who is an English spaniel breeder and cynologist.
Despite the fact that Prince William and Kate broke the royal protocol with a “public kiss”, the British did not condemn them on social networks, but on the contrary – complimented them: “What a wonderful couple!”, “How in love!” Kate and William, you are a lovely couple and family!”, “Look what a fabulously beautiful couple who will one day be the rulers of Great Britain”.
