The Latvian music recording annual award “Zelta Mikrofons” is usually presented in February, and it is a welcome opportunity for musicians to meet their colleagues. Taking into account that the last two years the ceremony was held for a limited number of people, it was decided to hold the celebration in the summer together with the audience. In the “Zelta Mikrofona” laureate concert, musicians who are busy with their own concert tours in the summer took the same stage, and therefore seeing everyone together on one summer evening is a unique event. This opportunity was appreciated by the listeners, and the “Zelta Mikrofona” laureates’ concert took place in a sold-out hall.
“Prāta Vētra”, Laima Vaikule, “Instrumenti”, Intars Busulis, “Dzelzs Vilks”, “The Sound Poets”, “Astro’n’out”, Aija Andrejeva, Lauris Reiniks, Aminata, Agnese Rakovska, OZOLS, Normund performed at the concert Rutulis, Jānis Stībelis, Olga Rajecka, “Rīgas Modes”, “Innocent Marples”, “Pienvedėja Adventures”, ansis, Evija Vēber, “Citi Zēni” and “Knīpas und knauķi”.

A unique lineup of musicians whose performance is a high level of professionalism in balance with magnificent emotions, excited spectators whose ovations are relentless, wonderful conductors and guests – it was a great pleasure. I have I’m glad that everything turned out as planned. I say thank you to everyone who believed in the idea and helped to realize it!” says the long-time producer of “Zelta Mikrofons” Elita Mīlgrave.
The recording of the “Zelta Mikrofona” laureates’ concert can still be watched on Go3 TV, but on August 5 at At 21.45 the concert will be broadcast on TV3.
On the other hand, the organizers of the concert announce that applications for music recordings for the “Zelta Mikrofons 2023” award will be accepted from October 1 to November 30 of this year. More information can be found on the Internet.
