The concert was largely dedicated to the album “Great Art” released in the autumn of 2020, which received both the “Golden Microphone” and the “Austrian Award” as the best music recording of the past year in Latvia.

We remind you that the rapper’s solo concert for the general public was planned already in the spring of 2020, but due to the pandemic it was postponed several times until it was finally canceled completely. The performance of “Great Art” in a live concert took place for the first time since the album was released last year.

The special guest of the concert was rapper Rolands Če, as well as the masters of “Dirty Deal Audio” Oriole, Kashuks, Niklāvz, guitarist Gints Smukais and other musicians. The concert featured hits from both the album “Great Art” and previous recordings, looking back at the rich work of anchovies for more than ten years.

It has already been reported that the rapper duck album “Great Art” gained rapid popularity in the first hours after its release. It became the most streamed Latvian music recording in the first 24 hours of the music streaming service “Spotify”. The recording was made in 2020, on the outskirts of Riga, and it was created in a small trailer room, which was turned into a home recording studio. The recording was mixed and mastered by ansis himself.

Uncharacteristic of the hip-hop genre, the album was praised at the “Golden Microphone 2021” award for music recordings and awarded with two trophies, winning both the award for the best domestic hip-hop music recording of the year and the title of the best album of the year. . The album also received the “Austrian Award 2021” as the best Latvian music recording of the year.
