Lithuanians opened the chamber music evening quartet with the composition “Dance in Blue” by composer Zita Bružaitė, which was continued by Vidmantas Bartulis’ First String Quartet “O, dear” or “Oh, dear”, which surprised the audience with a musical kiss. in conclusion. The sound of the first string quartet “… in extremis”, inspired by theater-inspired composer Fausta Latėna, embodied a heartfelt dialogue between string instruments and prepared visitors for a cheerful and graceful melodic culmination with experimental and contemporary composer Teisuta Makačina.

The evening continued with a string quartet by Edvard Grieg, in which the composer of Norway’s changing and visually beautiful landscape was musically played in a four-part composition. After applause from the audience, the quartet returned to the stage with the addition of a concert – Astora Piacola’s String Quartet “Chador”.

The Čurlionis Quartet consists of experienced musicians – the first violin Jonas Tankevičius, the second violin Darius Dikšaitis, violinist Gediminas Dačinskas and the cellist Elena Daunytė.
