PHOTO – Catherine Laborde celebrates her 71st birthday: the tender message from her sister Françoise, “no one forgets you”

Catherine Laborde celebrated her birthday with her family. For her 71st birthday, her sister Françoise posted a snapshot accompanied by a tender message on her Instagram account.

This Sunday, May 8, Catherine Laborde celebrates her 71st birthday. The former weather presenter, on TF1, celebrated this day with her sister, Françoise, who published for the occasion a nice shot on Instagram. In the caption of the publication, we can read this adorable message: “Happy birthday my Catherine. Always enjoy life and know that nobody forgets you. You are always smiling, always brave: many of them tell me every day how much they love you and think of you. 1000 kisses.”

For a long time, relations between the two sisters were not in good shape, but since Catherine Laborde announced that she had Parkinson’s disease in 2017, they have been reconciled: “My sister reconciled with me thanks to illness. Until then, she was angry but she is not anymore. She says herself that she is very scared because mom died of Alzheimer’s so with this disease that I have and which looks like Alzheimer’s, it upset her, I think“, had confided Catherine Laborde to Galain 2018.

The new life of Catherine Laborde

Faced with the very slow evolution of her illness, Catherine Laborde seems to be living her symptoms as well as possible, as her sister Françoise indicated, during an interview with Jordan De Luxe, given in April. “She’s fine. She is relaxed“, she had assured. The former miss weather of TF1 had badly experienced the periods of confinement but the months spent on the island of Yeu did her good.

During this interview, Françoise Laborde also mentioned death, and admitted avoiding the subject: “With Catherine, I don’t ask myself any questions (about the aftermath). It would be indelicate, and then we don’t want to talk about it like that“, she confided, before adding: “I’m not the priority in this kind of conversation.” Fortunately, Catherine Laborde showed great vitality and did her best to resist the disease.
