On the evening of Tuesday, July 26, the stars of the Latvian stage gathered on one stage in the “Zelta Mikrofona” laureate concert in the Dzintari concert hall, performing their greatest hits and also delighting with premieres.
The Latvian music recording annual award “Zelta Mikrofons” is usually presented in February, and for musicians it is a welcome opportunity to meet their colleagues. Taking into account that the last two years the ceremony was held for a limited number of people, it was decided to hold the celebration in the summer together with the audience.
“Prāta vētra”, Laima Vaikule, “Instrumenti”, Intars Busulis, “Dzelzs vilks”, “The Sound Poets”, “Astro’n’out”, Aija Andrejeva, Lauris Reiniks, Aminata, Agnese performed at the “Zelta Mikrofona” laureate concert Rakovska, Ozols, Normunds Rutulis, Jānis Stībelis, Olga Rajecka, “Rīgas fashions”, “Innocent Marple”, “Adventures of the milkman”, Ansis, Evija Vēber, “Other boys”, “Knīpas and knauķi”.
“I am grateful and pleased for the concert, which I think will go down in history. A unique line-up of musicians, whose performance is a high level of professionalism in balance with magnificent emotions, excited spectators whose ovations are relentless, wonderful hosts and guests – it was a great pleasure. You can watch the recording of the “Zelta Mikrofona” laureates’ concert on next generation TV Go3, but on August 5 at 21.45 the concert will be broadcast on TV3 channel. The recording of the concert was made in cooperation with the Association of Latvian Performers and Producers.
The organizers of the concert announce that applications for music recordings will be accepted for “Zelta Mikrofons 2023” from October 1 to November 30. More information can be found zeltamikrofons.lv.
