It has already been reported that on February 18, the “Zelta Mikrofons’23” ceremony took place in Ķipsala, where laureates in 21 categories were honored.

The “Golden Microphone” award in the “Best Pop Music Album” category was won this year by the musician Shipsea with “Apgasimas mani”.

In the “Best music album for children” category, the children’s pop studio “Kukuragi”, Lauris Reiniks, Markus Riva, Ieva Sutugova, “Patrisha”, Kaspars Markševics, Mārtiņš Strods and Agnese Širante with the album “Kukuragi” won.

The award for the best country music or hit album went to “Vintāža” with the album “Atmiņu lase. Latvian stage notes”.

On the other hand, in the “Best electronic or dance music album” category, Vultura won with “Not Your Typical Fairytale”, while roland če was recognized as the best hip-hop music album with “Visurgoedos”.

“Kremerata Baltica”, “Kremerata Lettonica” won in the “Best classical or choral music album” category, Gidon Kremer with the album “PPP”, while the singer “Dons” won the title of the best song with the song “Your touch”.

The 27th annual Latvian music recording award “Zelta Mikrofons” was organized by producer Elita Mīlgrāve and the Latvian Music Producers Association (LaMPA). This year, the author of the stage concept is artist, designer Artūrs Analts. Ukrainian director Marina Shaleva is entrusted with the TV direction. The concert part of the ceremony, stage events and TV realization were under the control of “Buzz Division” producers Ilze Jansone and Pēteras Krievkalns, the author of the script for the presenters is Aleksis Vilcinņš.
