The giant Dustin Johnson returned to victory on the American circuit by winning his first tournament in two years.
Dustin Johnson is back! After several months of scarcity, the American champion returned to victory by winning the Travelers Championship which was contested on the course of the TPC River Highlands (par 70) in Cromwell (Connecticut). It is his 21st title on the PGA Tour and, above all, his first coronation since his success at WGC-Mexico in February 2019.
After a bad first day (he was in 79th place in the ranking), “DJ” switched on the turbo and took in cards of 64, 61 and 67 for a total of 19 shots under par. He finished the race one step ahead of Kevin Streelman and two ahead of Will Gordon and Hugues Mackenzie.
