The Peugeot 3008 Hybrid with front-wheel drive joins the 3008 Hybrid4 with all-wheel drive. The new version with the 225 hp plug-in hybrid drive can now be ordered. The prices start at 42,150 euros. This version is more than 7,000 euros cheaper than the 3008 Hybrid4 with 300 hp.
The plug-in hybrid system is known from the Peugeot 508. It combines a 181 hp 1.6 liter turbo gasoline engine with an 81 kW (110 hp) electric motor. There is also a lithium-ion battery with 13.2 kWh. Together, this results in 225 hp and a maximum torque of 360 Newton meters.
The power is transferred to the front wheels via the eight-speed automatic e-EAT8 modified for electric models. The top speed is 225 km / h. Purely electrically, the car travels 56 kilometers (WLTP cycle).
As with the all-wheel-drive version, you can use the e-save function to store part of the battery charge for later. The Plug-in-3008 is charged in a wall box with single-phase AC with 3.7 kW charging power in three hours and 30 minutes. There is an optional onboard charger that enables a charging power of 7.4 kW at a 22 kW charging station. This shortens the charging process to 2 hours 45.
The charging cables can be stowed in a compartment under the trunk floor. Despite the additional electric motor on the rear axle, the trunk volume remains unchanged compared to a conventional 3008: 395 to 1,357 liters of luggage can be loaded.
Three configurations can be ordered. Allure offers a keyless entry system, an active lane departure warning system, a TomTom navigation system with real-time traffic jam information and a smartphone connection.
“Allure incl. GT Line Package” also includes LED headlights, a sport mode, a black painted roof and sporty interior details. EGR comfort seats and a rear-view camera with a 180-degree view are added to the top GT equipment.
